Presentation 6 :

1. What island or countries were discussed in the presentation? Barbados
2. What did you learn? The economy changed dramatically
3. What would you have liked to know or ask given time? I would've liked to know a different artist that is famous and is from here. 
4. What worked best for the presenters? They consistency
5. What should presenters not do? Not reading straight off the board.

1. What island or countries were discussed in the presentation? Martinique
2. What did you learn? I learned that slavery in Martinique still takes place
3. What would you have liked to know or ask given time? I would like to have known more about slavery and how they took the situation on that island
4. What worked best for the presenters? Not reading straight from each PowerPoint
5. What should presenters not do? Use more photos
6. And whatever else you would like to say? Good job

Presenation Day 1

Presentation 6:

What island or countries were discussed in the presentation? Dominican Republic

I learn that Dominicans do not want to be classified as black decent.

What did you learn? I learn that the Dominican has a lot of history behind it

What would you have liked to know or ask given time? I would have like to known more detail of the island itself and other attractions that were important.

 What worked best for the presenters? I like how she did have a lot of detail about the topic and was confident about what she was saying.

What should presenters not do? Presenters shouldn't read word from word off of their PowerPoint.

And whatever else you would like to say? Good job

 





Presentation 3:

What island or countries were discussed in the presentation? Haiti

What would you have liked to know or ask given time? I would have like to know more about the island itself and more about the attractions

What worked best for the presenters? It would have been best if more information regarding the attractions and positive stuff was talked about

What should presenters not do? Presenter should not always talk about the negative things rather positive because regardless its stull look at a beautiful exotic place to be

And whatever else you would like to say? Good job

What did you learn? I learned that Haiti is a very strong island and even though they been through a lot of hard times they still remain humble and take pride in were there from

 

 

Presentation 2:

What island or countries were discussed in the presentation? Costa Rica

What did you learn? I learned that this island have a lot of information and historical fact that interesting regarding the economy, cultural and there lifestyle

 What would you have liked to know or ask given time? I would have like to know more about three culture since it seem so vibrant and entertaining

What worked best for the presenters? It would have been better if more images and maybe a video or something was shown

What should presenters not do? It’s best for presenters to not read from board and don't be as nervous
